Soup beans, pickled chow chow and cornbread

 I was intrigued by Appalachian cooking and made soup beans, chow chow and cornbread. I found recipes Here

Because it’s vegan - no ham hock or bacon in the beans. Instead I cooked the pinto beans in the crockpot with sautéed onions, garlic, celery, cumin, coriander, paprika, chili flakes, black pepper, liquid hickory smoke, water, olive oil.
