Bean thread noodles

 For dinner tonight I made a serving of thin vermicelli bean thread noodles and topped it with the Thai peanut bean salad plus extra peanut sauce. It was yummy. 😋 #beanthreadnoodles

Dolly cake!

 I made Dolly’s strawberry cake today. I had to veganize though. I used applesauce instead of egg and oil instead of butter. Still came out moist and delicious! 🍓🍰

Vegetable pastry

 Last week I had the most delicious vegetable puff pastry at my local coffee shop and I knew I had to try to make it myself. I roasted vegetables that were tossed in a marinade of Turkish red pepper paste, sundried tomato, olive oil, cumin, mint, basil, Aleppo pepper, salt and black pepper. I mixed in thawed frozen spinach before filling the dough. I didn’t have enough puff pastry sheets so I was only able to get 3 pocketshh out of it. I made a quick flatbread dough and got four more pockets. This was delicious! The flavor profile was good and will definitely make again. #veggiepastry
