Heinz Beans!

We always have this kind of dinner when I don't feel like cooking. I popped a couple of cans of Heinz Beans (made in England!) heated them up and served them alongside a baked potato, salad and corn on the cob. Yummay!

I do love my baked beans! What kind of dressing is that on the salad? It looks so yummy.

Is there a difference with the beans made in England vs America?

mppaul2,
Yes the difference is the british baked beans (namely Heinz brand) are just beans in a tomato sauce with very little sugar, some vinegar and a bit of spices. The american brands are way too sweet, usually have lots of brown sugar, maple syrup and sometimes pork fat.

I said maple syrup - I meant molasses!
