Vegan Banh Mi.

So why have I not tried this before??? This was amazing! Got the recipe here and gave it a go. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had at home. I used regular radishes because I couldn't find daikon at the store. And I also used baked tofu that I prepared yesterday. I can't believe how good this was. Go make this NOW.

Wow. I've never had Bahn Mi for the obvious reason that it's not vegan! I think I remember seeing it at a vegan restaurant or two but have never ordered it. Yours looks so tasty I think I'll have to give it a whirl!

Thank you Vegan Mouse. I'm making banh mi for dinner tonight. I check your blog at least weekly and I am frequently inspired to make what you have made and posted. Usually it is something middle eastern. I also love that you have listed all your vegan cookbooks. I have many of them but have checked others out of the library. I think I've checked out Olive Trees and Honey 4 times in last year. I love that you take many of your photos outside! It seems so californian! I'm jealous as I live in northeast! Keep up your good work!

I love bahn mi! I recently found a restaurant that makes vegan bahn mi but making it at home is just as good and cheaper! Looks delicious.
