A Dang Good Sandwich.

Veggie ham, Daiya vegan cheese, tomato, sauerkraut, red onion, piccalilli, vegan mayo/ketchup on german sunflower rye. This was amazing.

Daiya slice envy! I hope they start distributing to the southeast soon!

Hi Becky!
I actually used a block of Daiya and sliced it myself. My WF carries it in both shreds and block form.

so, i was uninspired for dinner yesterday and thought i'd make a sandwich to go with some soup we had already. I used your sandwich as inspiration (made a few substitutions for convenience) and the sandwiches were SO flavorful! Got a thumbs up from the bf. Thanks for the inspiration! Now if only I could find piccalilli!

I had to click on the recipe as I couldn't figure out what the white 'slab' was. I didn't see tofu in the key words, and was stumped.... Wow!! Daiya blocks. Very cool. Can't wait unti they are available in AZ. We just got the Daiya pepper jack and I can't wait to try it. debbie
