Soup and Sandwich Sunday.

Krautsuppe, a german cabbage soup recipe from Olive Trees and Honey. This is so good and hearty. It's got cabbage, onions, carrots, potatoes in a tomato based broth flavored with caraway seeds.

Baked tofu sandwich on Ezekiel sprouted grain bread, Vegenaise, Nathan's coney island mustartd, lettuce and tomato.

Looks delicious! I always look forward to your new posts. I also had "Soup and Sandwich Sunday." I made the Old-Fashioned Tomato Soup from Vegan Diner, alongside a Daiya mozzarella panini--perfect for this cool, dreary Sunday.

What an awesome soup & sandwich combo! I haven't made a cabbage soup in awhile, kind of inspired now, especially with the chilly east coast weather we've got today.

I'm crazy about cabbage and I'll make this soup this week. I have the cookbook and would like to use it more. If you like cabbage and caraway, have you tried Robin Robertson's Tempeh Goulash in her slow cooker book. It's a favourite of mine---I love it!
