Overnight charro beans from The Bean Book recipe. I added 2 Serrano peppers holy crap this is pretty spicy! @rancho_gordo Rio Zape beans are beautiful and cook up so nice similar to pinto beans.

Love serrano peppers (have a few seedlings growing as I write). Love beans--all sorts: fava, pinto, black-eyed peas, cow peas, black beans, navy beans, borlotti beans. Need to check out the Rancho Gordo site. Your toppings for the beans resonates: avocado, onion, cilantro, salsa, squeeze of lime...will google how to make 'mushroom bacon'. Thanks!
