TGIF!

Got out of work early today and when I got home, I made a pot of illy decaf. My fave way to prepare is to heat about 1/4 cup vanilla soymilk in a mug, pour in the brewed coffee to the top and stir in a tsp of agave. It's delicious! I've been drinking mainly decaf as I'm not allowed too much caffeine because of the baby. Illy decaf and Peet's decaf Major Dickison are my favorites.

The other night I had this delicious Gardein beefless burger with Follow Your Heart cheese for dinner. With all the fixin's.

Favorite fruit to eat during pregnancy. It's sweet and refreshing and hydrating! Also curbs sweet and snack cravings. I've only gained 7 lbs in 6 months and my doc is happy with that.

  1. Awwww, he's shy! Only 7 lbs? That's impressive. I've known women that feel they have carte blance to eat whatever they want during pregnancy and wonder why they gained 50 lbs. I heard you only need 500 extra calories during pregnancy but don't know how accurate that is.

  2. Yes you are right, that extra bit of calories is like another sandwich. So "eating for two" is not advisable. My fic does not want me to gain over 15-25 lbs total.
