I'm loving Mary McCartney's cookbook
FOOD. She really is my style of cook, relaxed and non-fussy. This rice recipe was like boom boom boom, done! I think I was in and out of the kitchen in about 30 minutes. Very tasty rice which will go well with various main dishes. I'm just having it by itself. It's very comforting and full of good mushroom and onion flavor.
zi don't think i've ever commented before (i'm terrible about that), but i've been reading your blog for about 2 1/2 years (when i went vegan). i wanted to de-lurk and say hi. also, i've made several recipes you have linked to. the flourless chocolate cake is really good (even though i overcooked it, my fault! i don't have the right size pan so i had to guess). yours just looked so tempting with the sprinkles and glaze!
ReplyDeletelately my husband and i have been eating a lot of enchiladas (with flour tortillas), and have become obsessed with your drizzle recipe (vegenaise, ketchup, lime juice, we add a touch of nutritional yeast). i even put it on top of a baked black eyed pea dip 2 days ago. i'm super tempted to try it on top of baked mac and cheese too. this is getting long and spazzy... anyway, i enjoy your blog! have a great weekend!
