This I've been wanting to try for a long time being the curry freak that I am. So glad I did. And I was lucky to have all the ingredients I needed, which are not very much.
Pictured here: mushrooms, tomato, garlic/ginger, onions, jeera (cumin seeds) and green chilies. Not pictured: earth balance margarine, soymilk, tomato paste, cilantro and garam masala.
Mushrooms going in...
The beautiful end result!

Wow, that looks so good. I'll have to give it a try.
ReplyDeleteagain an easy recipe of white button mushrooms in an onion-tomato based medium spiced gravy. i use this recipe as base for making mushroom or paneer masala. i also make veg or paneer bhuna masala gravy with some tweaking of this recipe. again like most of my recipes, this one too is easy to prepare. there is some prep work like making onion paste and tomato puree, which can be easily done in a good blender or mixer-grinder. fresh yogurt/curd is also added in this recipe. if you do not have curd, then just skip it. consulta online medico online pediatria online medicina online doctor online dermatologia online veterinaria online veterinaria online physician online consultoria online abogado españa online abogado colombia online abogado mexico online abogado españa online abogado online psicologo online doctor online psicologia online abogado online psicologo online there is no thick creamy gravy in this recipe, but a medium consistency gravy. one that can be easily poured on steamed rice or can also be had with chapatis or parathas.
